Stayed at the Chatsworth Hotel in Eastbourne with elderly mother for a mini holiday. Booked this hotel due it’s stylish, classic décor and location. Standalone building with 4 floors. Beautiful traditional entrance and dining room, lounge and bar room with 1900 elevator lift with seating inside, such a beautiful feature. Booked an Executive King size bedroom Seaview on the 3rd floor and received the corner panoramic room 303. Bathroom was huge, the best I had ever seen! Room size was large and closet space available. Tea/coffee facilities (kettle and coffee machine) and water bottles provided. TV had all the popular apps so you can log in to watch. Plug points modern with also USB sockets. Free Wi-Fi, connection was super-fast. Worth the price due to the epic view directly to the sea and the Eastbourne Pier, however bit of a obstacle to go onto the balcony, you need additional step to get onto it, hand grippers on both sides of the door. The guest relations staff, night duty gentleman, dining staff to the Hotel Manager were wonderful and exceptional! Professional, friendly and genuinely kind staff. They surely go far and beyond to ensure you have a pleasant stay at the hotel. Certainly, London hotels could learn about pleasantries etiquette from Eastbourne! There was a gym in the hotel and beauty treatment facilities. Guest relations can book a local taxi upon your request. One min walk to all the restaurants from fish n chips to Asian food. Eastbourne Pier is a 2 minute walk and the other direction is the historical Wish Tower. Overall beautiful and lovely hotel and certainly would stay again due to the location is perfect!

This is a very modern hotel with a high standard design. The marble floor in reception and in the bathroom of our room was a delight. I also loved the ornate design to the facade of the building. The bed in the room was a dream, so cosy and comfortable and the blackout curtains, yes, yes and yes. Thank you. They have a fire stick so you can watch Netflix etc. A real bonus. Wi-Fi was real good. The Art Deco lift is a treat; what a smooth ride. My daughter wanted to use it all the time even though we were on the first floor. There is a piano in the bar area that guests can play, which was lovely. My daughter wanted to practice, a-bonus. There are board games in the lounge area if required, great for rainy days. The breakfast was lovely, and we were served and that it was not a buffet, which I preferred. The hotel is around a 10 minute walk to the shopping centre, plus very close to the beach and attractions. You can take a tour bus from the Pier or Bandstand to Beachy Head, Belle Tout and Birling Gap. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, I could not ask for more. I liked that we paid at the end of our stay and not upfront for each item purchase. Perfect. I would stay here again.

Hotel was right on the front with a good view of the sea. Ceiling height bay window so lots of light and a chaise longue from which to watch the world go by! The bathroom was large and clean with bath and fitted shower head which was a little high, but powerful. Bed was large and very comfortable. There were tea and coffee making facilities, which was handy as we did not take breakfast at the hotel. Staff were informative regarding restaurants and parking and very friendly! We ate a meal in the hotel on our last night and it was very good, with a jazz pianist playing into the bargain! Loved the old fashioned lift! Took me back to my first job in London many, many years ago!!

Historic property (the elevator is quite old, really cool to ride it) and big rooms with high ceilings. The bathroom is quite large as well. Everything was clean, there's also a fridge in the room if you need it (but it was quiet). Very friendly staff, always up for a chat or recommendations what to do or where to go. There's a breakfast option available, which we didn't use. We however used the small icecream cart at the entrance. The hotel is directly at the promenade. It doesn't have it's own parking, however you can park for 2 £/day on the street with an H-card and you only need it Mo-Sat from 8-18. We never had any issue finding a parking spot.

The room was very spacious and we had an excellent view of the sea. The bed was very comfortable and we had a large sofa, table and chairs and a fridge in our room. This is our 3rd time at the hotel and they've remembered us from before. It's in a fantastic location, close to the pier and shopping centre. Decent selection at breakfast and they had someone playing the piano which was a nice touch. We book this hotel for the Eastbourne fire show and it didn't disappoint.
